Tried Chicken Tikka Quesadilla from The Urban Turban. It was pretty good. This was the first time I tried this restaurant. The Indian-Mexican fusion Quesadilla didn't disappoint. Will definitely try the other items on the menu.
Wanted to try this place out due to seeing that viral foodie video! Tiny food truck with plenty of yummy food on the menu! The lime cream soda was sold out, so we got the rose soda instead and it was a very good replacement. Everything here is homemade and fresh! I will say you will have to wait a bit to get your order, so patience is key here. People ordered ahead of us had their food before ours...hence the 4 stars here. Didn't make sense, but again the food was worth waiting for and the guy thanked us for our patience in the end.
The rose soda, shawarma, quesabirria, and beef and rice were amazing. Great customer service and great food. Me and the fam will be back.
SPECTACULAR!!! I was shocked at how good the chicken tikka tacos were. There's a bit of a kick but it's not overpowering. I really want to know what's in the sauce because it's really bright and zesty. It interacts well with the chicken, making this a great dish for those wanting to eat Indian fusion! Also...do try the chai tea. It's made fresh :)
First time customer today. Got to say, I enjoyed everything I purchased. Great service, plenty of parking and some seating in a nice clean outdoor setting. Ordered a Combo burrito, Chicken Tikka Quesadilla and a Birria Quesadilla. All were flavorful and well cooked. Cost was reasonable especially for the amount of food you get. My wife's favorite was the quesadilla and I'll have to try again and narrow down my favorite as I enjoyed them all. Can't wait to try other items from the menu!
This was our first time trying The Urban Turban and can I just say.. WOW!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! My husband got the beef shawarma, my daughter got the chicken shawarma and I had the chicken burrito. The fusion of flavors and spices were just spectacular. I didnt know it was possible to combine my two favorite foods, tikka and tacos, but here you have it and it is incredible. If you've never tried it before you have to check it out. We will definitely be back! Also I would like to mention that the customer service is also impeccable. They were very kind and down to earth. 10/10 recommend.
One of my most fav food trucks in the round rock area. We have been going to Urban turban since their inception and they never disappoint. Most recently, they catered for my child's birthday party, and they exceeded all expectations! The food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful! Guests raved about the Tacos and quesadillas and the variety of sauces catered to all tastes. Excellent communication throughout the planning process. Fawad , the owner, responded promptly to queries and tailored the menu to our needs. Rating: 5/5 stars
The food is PHENOMENAL and so is the customer service! I can't wait to bring my friends here to experience this amazing fusion cuisine! 10/10! I had the Birria Quesadilla! It was the best quesadilla I've ever ever had!
